Facilities

Urbana School District 116 invites community groups to rent our facilities for community programs, sporting events and other meetings that benefit our communities and schools. To learn about renting our facilities, please read the Application for School Use.

• The completed application should be submitted to the building principal to determine if the requested space is available. The building principal will forward the application to the Facilities Office.
• The Facilities Office will determine if the organization needs to provide a certificate of insurance, a permit from Public Health, or if any fees will be charged.  An email will be sent to you if any additional information is needed.  Make sure to include your address and email address on the application.   
• Any requested information must be received in the Facilities office 15 days prior to your event, or your application will be denied.   
• Once final approval has been granted by the Director of Facilities, a signed/approved copy will be emailed to you.  We will also forward a copy to the Building Principal, and the cleaning contractor.   
• The district reserves the right to withdraw or rescind this application on short notice due to weather conditions or District needs.  
• Do not advertise for your event until after you have received your approved copy of the application
