Several Urbana High School and Urbana Middle School students participated in the Illinois Music Education Association’s annual All-State Conference.
These students were selected for the All-State conference after auditioning and being selected for the ILMEA District III Band, Choir and Orchestra in November of 2025. Because these students placed so highly at the district level, they advanced to All-State which was held in Peoria on January 29–31. One student was also selected to participate in the Future Music Educator Seminar (FMES) at the All-State Conference.

This was the first year that middle school students were able to participate at the state level. The following students were placed into the ILMEA All-State Junior Orchestra:
- Abraham Coady: Violin – All-State Junior Orchestra
- Penelope Dunn: Violin – All-State Junior Orchestra
- Clara Nardie: Violin – All-State Junior Orchestra

Based on their auditions at the District Level, students were placed into one of the following possible groups: the ILMEA All-State Chorus, the ILMEA All-State Band, the ILMEA All-State Honors Chorus, or the ILMEA All-State Honors Orchestra.

- Gisselle Jaurez-Alquicira: Alto II – All-State Chorus
- Isaac Bodony: Contra-Alto Clarinet – All-State Band
- Junior Nono: Tenor II – All-State Honors Chorus
- Elianna Lee: Percussion – All-State Honors Orchestra
- Finley Curtis participated at the 2026 ILMEA Future Music Educator Seminar
