USD116 FOOD MENUS

Looking for food menus? You can view weekly and monthly menus by downloading the LINQ Connect app.

Quest partners with LINQ Connect to provide access to weekly and monthly dining menus that include individual item descriptions, ingredient lists, nutritional data and allergen information.

Get Started:

  • Visit LINQConnect.com or open the LINQ Connect App.
  • Under “Check District Menus” type “Urbana School District” 
  • In the upper lefthand corner, select your school from the drop-down list.
  • The menu will appear and you can select the monthly or weekly view of the calendar and desired date range.
  • To see menu item details, simply click the item and the ingredients, nutritional data, and allergens will populate.
  • To view specific allergen information, click the allergens menu and check all the boxes that apply.

Allergen Icons

  • Icons for the top nine allergens are visible in our dining areas at points of service and allergens are also listed with corresponding menu items in LINQ Connect.
  • We cannot eliminate the risk of cross-contact or guarantee that any item is free of allergens due to the nature of our kitchens and our reliance on suppliers for accurate information.
  • Our kitchens are allergy aware, not allergy free.

USD116 FOOD SERVICE PROVIDER

Urbana School District #116 has partnered with Quest Food Management Services to offer scratch made meals using fresh ingredients that are responsibly sourced. Urbana School District #116 participates in the USDA sponsored National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, and all meals and snacks served meet or exceed the standards required by these programs.

Schools in Illinois are required to provide a plant-based lunch upon prior request under Illinois bill 4089.
Due to the time it takes to order food and plan lunches, Quest needs four weeks advance notice. The student does not need to follow a plant-based diet to request a plant-based lunch. The student does not need to eat lunch at school every day to request plant-based meals. To request plant-based meals, fill out a plant-based request form and return it to foodservice@usd116.org

Definition of Plant-Based as intended by the law and will be followed by the school: Plant-Based means food
and/or beverages that come 100% from plant sources (vegan). Plant-Based food means no
meat/poultry/fish/seafood/milk/cheese/yogurt/sour cream/butter/margarine that contains dairy/ice cream/
dairy derivatives (casein, whey, lactose)/eggs/egg derivatives/honey/lard/gelatin.

COMMUNITY ELIGIBILITY PROVISION: NO CHARGE FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH

USD116 is pleased to continue to participate in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).  ALL USD #116 schools participate in the CEP allowing us to provide healthy breakfast and lunch each day to ALL students at no charge.  If you have any questions regarding the CEP program, please call the Business Office at (217) 384-3642.
