Urbana Track and Field competed at the Indoor State Championship and placed well in several events.
400M
Jackson Gilbert took home the VICTORY in the 400M for the second year in a row, setting a new all-time class 2A record for the State Championship, running a 49.20! Jackson broke his record from last year, when he ran a 49.99 for the win.
4x800M
Julio Angrave, Hudson Coady, Cordaro Sims and Jack Lusakembi had the best 4×800 indoor performance in recorded Urbana history. They took 7th place.
4x400M
Terrel King, Cordaro Sims, Jackson Gilbert and Kelenna Onyemere finished 2nd in the State for the 4x400M relay. This was the highest placing finish for this event in decades.
