Dan Ditchfield and Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE:HMN) are excited to celebrate Urbana School District Educators during Teacher Appreciation Week by fully funding all $10,369 in open DonorsChoose projects in the district.
The flash funding completes 18 DonorsChoose projects, impacting dozens of students, and will bring iPads, art supplies, books in multiple languages, dramatic play materials, math tools, summer learning supplies and more into the classrooms of USD116 educators.
“Educators have one of the most important jobs there is, shaping our children’s future, and we want to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed,” said Horace Mann agent, Dan Ditchfield. “We know educators spend their hard-earned money on supplies, and this allows them to save some money to invest in their future, while also making a difference in the futures of their students.”
