The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition for the Mid-Central Illinois Region consists of award-winning work by junior and senior high school art students within the 33 county region.
The following Urbana High School students have been named scholastic art award winners:
- Cian Ferrell: Honorable Mention, Photography
- Avalon Ogolsky: Honorable Mention, Mixed Media
- Nat Schneider: Honorable Mention, Digital Art
- Adam Skousen: Honorable Mention, Photography
- Mason Hagen: Silver Key Photography
- Ellee Ford: Silver Key, Photography
- Damien Erickson: Gold Key, Digital Art
- Ellee Ford: 2 Gold Keys
The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition of Gold Key and Silver Key recipients will hang at the Springfield Art Association, 700 North Fourth Street, Springfield from February 5-23. Honorable Mention Awards will be projected on the wall. The gallery is open daily Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Gold Key winners will have their work sent to New York for national judging. National awards will be announced in March 2023
