Three USD 116 Teachers Earn National Board Certification

Congratulations to Urbana School District’s newest National Board Certified Teachers:

  • Tiffany Clark (Leal)
  • Rebecca Neihengen (UMS)
  • Joan Jach (UHS)

In addition to their daily work with students, they spent the past two years working toward this achievement.  Achieving National Board Certification is an incredible accomplishment. It takes much work and reflection about their practice, as well as a strong desire to continue to grow in their craft.

National Board Certification is the most respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students and schools. It was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.

We are fortunate to have these accomplished teachers in Urbana.
