E-Learning Day: Tuesday, January 21, 2025

Dear Urbana Families,

Due to the continued bitterly cold conditions and the current forecast for wind chills between 10 and 20 below zero during the morning arrival times, Urbana School District will have an E-Learning Day on Tuesday, January 21. This decision is being made to ensure the safety of all students and staff, particularly our walkers and bus riders.

  • All UMS and UHS extracurriculars, events, and practices are canceled.
  • Our Board of Education meeting will continue as scheduled at 6:00 p.m. as posted.

PreK-5 students should work on their learning packets. Grades 6-12 students should check Google Classroom for posted information or assignments. Teachers will be available remotely via email or classroom apps during regular school hours if you have questions or need assistance.

If you need additional assistance logging into Google Classroom, you can also email the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@usd116.org
