Urbana Bands welcomes the community to enjoy an evening of award-winning jazz featuring performances by the UMS Jazz Band, UHS Jazz Combo and the UHS Jazz Band on April 19, 2024 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Urbana High School Commons.
The 2024 Jazz Cafe promises a memorable night of live traditional instrumental
ranging from rock, pop, funk, blues and swing.
Urbana School District #116 prides itself in providing quality music education to all students regardless of income or ability. Urbana Bands enrich hundreds of lives across our schools and community in numerous ways. Urbana music programs provide a sense of pride and belonging, and builds lifelong friendships, cross-cultural understanding, confidence, teamwork, perseverance and leadership.
Suggested admission is $5 per person or $12 per family (cash or check) with all proceeds benefiting the Urbana Jazz Programs. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
