Urbana District #116 is holding back-to-back job fairs on August 12 and 13.
USD #116 has several positions available including: certified teaching positions, teaching assistants, substitute teachers, lunchroom supervisors, crossing guards, before/after school workers, maintenance/custodial and more.
“As we prepare to start the new school year, we have a variety of open positions of various skill levels,” said Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Angi Franklin. “It’s a challenging time for hiring; the situation in Urbana is not unique. Many jobs offer flexible hours that would be great for parents or retirees.”
- August 12th from 4:30-7 p.m. during Back to School Night outside of Urbana Middle and High Schools
- August 13th from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. inside Urbana Middle School.
Candidates should expect to meet with Human Resources representatives and building administrators and bring a resume, references and relevant certifications. A complete list of available position can be found at https://usd116.org/employment/
