Urbana School District Offering Free Breakfast and Lunch to Kids and Teens This Summer

Free Summer meals for kids and teens are available all summer long at sites across our community! Stopping by a summer meal site with your family not only saves you time and money, it also helps support our school and community.

All children meeting the age requirement will be provided with food regardless of summer school enrollment or home of record.  Individuals 18 or older with a state-defined mental or physical disability will also be provided with free meals. 

Summer Meals Program Details:

  • Meals are free for children and teens ages 18 and under
  • No application or registration required
  • Meals must be consumed on-site
  • The meals served are healthy and follow USDA nutrition guidelines
  • No meals served June 20 or July 4

The Summer Food Program is sponsored by the federal government and aims to provide children with access to food during traditional summer vacation periods. There are no income requirement or registration. If you have questions, contact Caty Roland, Chief Financial Officer at (217) 384-3642.
