A: Thanks for your question. The UHS Student Handbook, which includes the UHS dress code, can be found on the UHS web site – Student Handbook page. The 2015-2016 handbook, which was passed out to Freshmen during Orientation on Wednesday, August 19. All other students received it today, Thursday, August 20. The Handbook will be available on-line (the link above) shortly.
A: Thanks for the question! Our Athletic Department at UHS will always try and work with families regarding payments for athletics. There is an athletic fees of $50/sport (max $100/year) unless a family qualifies for either of the following:
A: Thanks for your question. Current UHS seniors received a letter in the mail this summer if they needed any vaccinations or immunizations. Those students will have until October 1, 2015 to provide proof of immunization. Students who are new to the District this year will be told at the time of registration what health information is needed. If you think your HS student should have received a letter and didn’t, please check with Darcy Widener, in the USD116 Administrative Service Center, at 384-3651.
A: Thank you for your question. Skyward contains a live version of a teachers grade book, and is used in this manner by teachers at UMS and UHS. Parent access to the grade book enables you to see the most up-to-date version of the teacher’s grade book for your student. It is important for families to know that final grades are not issued until the end of the grading term (or end of the quarter at UMS). If the Skyward grade has not been updated in a reasonable amount of time from when something was turned in, please contact the teacher. If still not resolved, please contact the building principal.
