Students will create a
timeline beginning in the present in order to better understand the concept of
how long ago certain events happened. This will also foster understanding of
the difficulties Lewis and Clark faced during their exploration of the Louisiana
Purchase due to the lack of transportation. When looking at photos, teachers might want to use this
