Laws in Illinois and the Nation
Divide
class into groups and provide each group with copies of all the Illinois
Progressive Laws and US history textbooks.

groups will need to read the Illinois laws and find certain national
progressive laws in the textbooks to create a timeline of Progressive Era
laws. Give students Progressive Era Legal Timeline Directions and
allow them to work for 1-2 class periods.
